Total Mechanical Systems has an opening for a full-time, Bookkeeper in Plainville, CT. This is an immediate opening, in a rapidly growing, fast-paced office setting. The Bookkeeper must have experience with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office programs. Pay is commensurate with experience.

The Bookkeeper will have a variety of duties, including, but are not limited to:
- Bank reconciliations
- General ledger reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Month end and year end closing
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
- Monthly Sales and Use Tax
- Positive Pay
- Inter-Company Billing
- Back up for other professionals in the accounting department
Bookkeeper Qualifications:
- 5 years bookkeeping experience
- 5 years Quickbooks experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a good working relationship with staff and vendors
- Must be able to multi-task
- Proficient in Word and Excel
